Rev. Ryu Kyeong Seuk, president of FFWPU Korea, on a nationwide tour of church regions beginning in Busan and GyeongnamA new determination for victory in the Tribal Messiah mission as members from a central providential nation. FFWPU Korea: Rev. Ryu Kyeong Seuk, president of FFWPU Korea toured church regions in Korea, to deliver True Mother’s most recent message emphasizing the mission and responsibility of the key providential nations to pursue the new Tribal Messiah mission for Vision 2020 victory. Rev. Lu embarked on his nationwide tour, slated for the later months of 2014, with the aim of lighting a torch of inspiration so that all the members and blessed families can devote themselves for victory. The tour began on day 21 of the 9th month (November 13) when Rev. Lu and his wife, in the company of Shin Inseon, head of the witnessing department, Cho Seongil, head of the planning and promotion department and Jeon Jeongcheol, head of the audio-visual department and others visited the Busan and Gyeongnam church headquarters.Emphasis on the identity, confidence and conviction of Cheon Il Guk citizensAfter arriving at the Gimhae airport around 8 am, Rev. Ryu and the department heads went to the Busan church headquarters where they first made a bow of greeting and report prayer to True Parents. Then they began their first official event of the tour, speaking to the key members of the Busan church. About twenty key members gathered for the first meeting in lecture room #1 on the sixth floor of the Busan headquarters, including the regional leader and his wife, senior pastors, Japanese missionary leaders and representatives of providential organizations in the area. After delivering his message, which emphasized that “Two things that we must keep in mind as people who are following the way of God’s will to build the world that True Parents are guiding us to create are ‘confidence’ and ‘conviction’. These two keys, along with attending our regional leader and True Parents, are what will confirm our identity as citizens of Cheon Il Guk.” Rev. Ryu entreated those present, as public figures, to be exemplary in demonstrating their identity as Cheon Il Guk citizens. After his report on the status of the Busan region, which explained the activities of providential organizations, along with the strategies and road map for witnessing, regional leader Kim Hyeongjeong reported that, “Internally, our plan is to focus on contacting inactive families and providing educational programs for members, while externally we will focus on witnessing activities through CARP, UPF and other providential organizations, in order to expand our contact with young people, college students and Ambassadors of Peace. Accomplishments we can proudly show our descendantsRev. Ryu’s rally for the Busan region was held in the 7th floor of the Busan headquarters with 300 central members in attendance. The rally began with a video of True Mother speaking about the ‘Victory in the New Tribal Messiah Mission for Vision 2020’.Listening to True Mother explain that, just like the monarch butterflies which follow the laws of nature and travel thousands of kilometers up and down every unexplored corner of the Korean peninsula, “We must be a nation who moves without fear or hesitation to pursue victory in the new tribal messiah mission, for Vision 2020,” the members at the rally shed tears of repentance and determination, and offered gratitude through their applause.Rev. Ryu continued by reading from True Mother’s recent speeches, included her message from the World Joint Worship held at Cheongshim Peace World Center on October 26, proclaiming the depth of the heart and leadership of True Parents, who have come as the fruit of human history and as the owners of true love, true life and true lineage.Following the reading, he spoke of how we must realize the precious value of True Parents, what a great grace we have received in being able to live and breathe in this time when we can attend True Parents directly, and how precious the tribal messiah mission is, giving us the chance to bring a witnessing victory that we can be proud of in front of our descendents. In order to pursue this goal, he outlined a 100 day special mobilization for the end of the year. After the rally, Kim Eungnyeong, minister of South Busan church testified that through Rev. Ryu’s rally, he had gained a renewed understanding of the vision of a healthy Unification Church. Lim Jongbo, minister of West Busan church proclaimed that all of us must embrace our identity without the tiniest hesitation, and follow our providential mission and God’s Will, setting up twelve families of spiritual children, by taking on the tribal messiah mission. The Road to Victory as New Tribal MessiahsAfter the morning activities were finished, Rev. Ryu and his party quickly departed for the Gyeongnam headquarters, where they arrived at about 4 pm. At the Gyeongnam rally, Gyeongnam Regional Director Oh Jebaek testified, “We must work to harvest the results of witnessing in spirit and in truth, and he went on to explain plans for new tribal messiah activities through clan associations. Following that, plans for Gyeongnam’s 100 day mobilization, utilizing the HCC witnessing center, were outlined. At the rally, which was held in the main sanctuary of the Changwon church, with about 500 church leaders and key members attending, Yangsan church minister Jeong Jongho stated, in his report prayer, “We will invest ourselves entirely to accomplish True Parents’ words; our 21 congregations will unite completely under the leadership of our Regional Leader, and will establish a powerful and historic witnessing victory here in the homeland of our faith.”Calling on the members to emulate such pioneers as the Smithsonian’s Dr. Langley and the Wright brothers, who made the world’s first airplanes, Rev. Lu stressed, “We can set up the base for restoring sovereignty if we serve True Parents, who have come as the fruit of providential history, while walking the path of the new tribal messiah mission as directed by heaven, with true passion and confidence, and accomplish the first stage by witnessing to 12 families.”After the conclusion of his message, Rev. Ryu entreated in his prayer, “Please remember and guide these Gyeongnam region blessed families and members who have offered their determination in this new age, to become the true owners and citizens of Cheon Il Guk by standing at the center of the providence and bringing victory through this 100 day mobilization.”After the grace of the message of inspiration, which bound the members with one heart, the Gyeongnam rally concluded as Choi Sugyeong, minister of the Geoje church led all those gathered in three cheers of ogmansei in determination for victory through new tribal messiah activities for Vision 2020.

Prepared by UPF AlbaniaFrom 5th – 8th of April 2018, 43 Ambassadors for Peace from 13 Local Peace Councils of Albania and one couple from Kosovo gathered in Ohrid – Macedonia to study the content of the Divine Principle. The Regional President for East Europe, Rev. Jack Corley also arranged his schedule in order to support this seminar. Our goal was to have 50 Ambassadors for Peace this time, however we ended up having 43 exactly like last seminar we held in December 2018.The atmosphere of the WS was very high all the time. Ambassadors for Peace were very punctual and attentive to the content of Divine Principle. The Divine Principle lectures were given by Rev. Corley – The Regional President for East Europe, Mr. Ali Lacej – Coordinator of Albanians’ Peace Council, Mr. Gani Rroshi – National Leader and Mrs. Manjola Vasmatics – Vice NL & Community Leader of Tirana.Out of 43 participants, 28 of them were for the very first time to hear Divine Principle content in depth. Some of the Chairs of Local Peace Councils who attended helped a lot in taking care and supporting the workshop through their discussions and also by moderating some sessions.Part of the program was also sightseeing and family evening were everybody enjoyed by expressing their unique abilities in singing, dancing, story-telling and poetry. It was a very family atmosphere and nobody felt embarrassed to express themselves naturally.Interesting aspect of this WS was also the morning meditation where we read from True Father’s Autobiography and based on that lead the meditation. Some of them expressed that now they understood for the first time the importance on meditation and prayer. The whole WS actually was quite interactive and there was a lot of Q&A and comments from participants. The final session of the seminar was the Blessing Ceremony for those Ambassadors for Peace who didn’t receive yet the Blessing. After a short lecture explaining the meaning and value of the Blessing, 12 couples became part of the Blessing Ceremony which was officiated by rev. Corley. The Imam Hysen Hormova was the representative couple for the Holy Wine Ceremony and was very happy to be in that position. Everybody was very happy to be part of this beautiful event. The Blessing ceremony concluded with 3 cheers of Eok Mansei! At the end we gave the Ambassador for Peace Certificate to 12 participants whom husband or wife already was an Ambassador for Peace. They were introduced by their partners and it was very beautiful. The reflections from participants was very positive and they felt very hopeful. Many of them determined to come to Vienna to attend True Mother. The Imam especially praised True Parents and thanked God for sending them at this time. He said that it is great mission to unify all religions and be above them all. He bought Divine principle and said that he will study it immediately and “swallow” its content and share with his followers.Everything is possible only because of the grace of our Heavenly Parent and True Parents!
Prepared by FFWPU BrazilOn March 16, 2019, the church of Santo Amaro held the resumption of activities of the Hope Youth ministry, connected group with the ideals and vision of the YSP. The theme was “The role of youth and students in creating a culture of sustainable Peace in our country”. Hope Youth Ministry restructured its activities into three sub-groups:Hope Kids – Working with children from 4 to 12 years oldHope Teen – Who develops activities with young people from 12 to 17 years old;Hope Youth – Who will work with young people from the age of 18.The inaugural event of this new phase had the theme “Disconnect”.We note that youth is increasingly focused on social media, cell phones, computers, tablets and less connected with life, with creation, with God. So the purpose of the event was to bring this insight, this call to society and disconnect from the digital world and connect with God.The event had approximately 400 people, with almost 50% of them being people who were meeting the church for the first time. The Church of Santo Amaro was completely replete in its corridors, additional rooms and stairs given the large proportion that the event took. The event was attended by the president of the Association of Families of Brazil, the representative of the Continental YSP Mr. Samuel Linhares, special envoy of the Young Reverend Kwon and the patrons of the event representing the church of Santo Amaro and general manager for all activities, Pastor Inowan Almeida and his wife Tung Ja Amanda Belarmino Novais. The event was filled with music, theater, ballet, lecture of the divine principle and a delicious closing cocktail. All the guests left their contacts and they left very inspired and motivated to become part of this work that will have its continuity weekly.brazil
We’re just one week away from Fedor Emelianenko fighting live on UFC Fight Pass, but before that happens, why don’t we take a trip down memory lane? It was January 24th, 2009, and Fedor was set to fight Andrei Arlovski in the Affliction: Day of Reckoning main event. Fedor won the all-important WAMMA belt against Tim Sylvia in the Affliction: Banned PPV, while Arlovski had scored back-to-back wins over Ben Rothwell and Roy Nelson after he left the UFC.The scene is set, Tito Ortiz is on commentary (but they cut out the post-fight interview) with Sean Wheelock and Jimmy Smith, and at the 6:24 mark of the video, you can see Donald Trump in attendance. You probably know the story of this fight by now. Arlovski was able to tag Fedor multiple times with fast and well-timed right hands, but then he thought he had Fedor trapped and ready to go for the KO. He left his feet in a conscious state and then returned to the mat in an unconscious state. I’ve long called this the first ever mid-air euthanization. You can watch the video at the top of the page. Here’s Mike Fagan’s play-by-play of the fight:Round 1: Right hand from Arlovski looks to stun Emelianenko early. Body shot from Fedor. Backs Arlovski into the corner and clinches up. Arlovski with a trip attempt, but Fedor maintains his balance. Cautious exchanged on the feet. Right hand knocks out Arlovksi! Oh my god! Wow!Fedor Emelianenko defeats Andrei Arlovski by KO at 3:14 of round 1.And the Bloody Elbow community’s reaction to the finish. Fedor will fight Fabio Maldonado in the EFN 50 main event on Friday, June 17th. The card airs exclusively on UFC Fight Pass. MMAmania.com Which is More Dangerous – MMA or Football? Good Night Tee Apparel Standard Ranked Rashguard Top Contenders for Fight of the Year More: Timeline of Israel Adesanya’s Rapid Rise to UFC Contender Gloves Latest From MMA Warehouse More From Brock Lesnar’s WWE Future After UFC Retirement It was revealed earlier today (Fri., June 22, 2018) that former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida will be taking his talents to Bellator MMA after signing an exclusive multi-fight deal.Machida, 40, certainly isn’t the same fighter he was when he knocked out Rashad Evans back in 2009 to claim UFC gold, but the Brazilian still provides fireworks inside of the cage. That is why Bellator is bringing “Dragon” aboard and planning on matching him up against the best fighters available starting this fall.“Whether he gets a title shot or not, I’m not sure, but as far as getting in the mix and fighting big fighters, we want that to happen,” Bellator president Scott Coker told MMAjunkie when discussing Machida’s debut later this year.If Machida was to get an immediate title shot it would probably come at 185 pounds and against the winner of Gegard Mousasi vs. Rory MacDonald, which is set to take place this September in California. Mousasi is the current Bellator middleweight champion and is coming off a first-round finish over former titleholder Rafael Carvalho“Maybe not in the fall, but maybe next year sometime you’ll see Gegard fighting Lyoto,” Coker said. “You might see Rory fighting Lyoto.”Outside of the middleweight title picture, Coker has big plans for Machida. Considering the legendary Brazilian striker has produced unforgettable results as a light heavyweight, Bellator is ready and willing to pit “Dragon” against some of the promotion’s biggest and baddest names.“You might see Fedor (Emelianenko) fighting Lyoto. (Ryan) Bader. (Muhammed) ‘King Mo’ (Lawal). Phil Davis. There’s just a lot of great fights we have at both weights,” explained Coker. While Machida wasn’t going to contend for a UFC title moving forward, his recent front kick knockout of Vitor Belfort at UFC 224 proved that he still has a lot left in the tank. So even though Machida’s current potential doesn’t quite stack up to his former success, the signing was an easy decision to make for Bellator.“We always said we were going to go after every free agent that we like, and we really like Lyoto, and he will be a great fit for us,” Coker said. “We’re excited to have him on board, and we can’t wait to put him to work.”Stick with Mania as more news on Machida’s crossover is revealed. And when stacked up against cities around the country, it turns out the Hub has one of the least affordable housing markets out there, according to RealtyHop.The real estate website’s June report shows that Boston is the eighth most expensive place to own a home in the U.S. With a median household income of $62k and an average home price of $645k, Boston homebuyers would have to shell out a whopping 58% of their monthly income to own a home, leaving less than half of their take-home pay for other life expenses and savings.Screenshot via RealtyHopThe report utilized a combination of data from the U.S. Census, American Community Survey Census, and RealtyHop listing prices to rank the 100 most populous cities in the country, and made calculations based on a 30 year mortgage with a 4.5% interest rate, and 20% down payment. While Boston has a habit of winning titles, this ranking is not our proudest award. But it could be worse: California residents are all too familiar with unattainable housing, claiming three of the top five most expensive markets, with Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Oakland landing at first, fourth, and fifth, respectively. The Sunshine State stakes its claim with Miami in second place, and New York lands in third. On the other side of the housing crisis, cities such as Detroit, Wichita, and Cleveland are some of the most affordable cities to buy a home in the U.S., allowing residents to spend as little as 13% of their monthly pay to call a home their own.If you’re committed to east coast living, though, you don’t have to buy a home to tour it—dip your toes in the market this weekend by checking out some of the prettiest open houses around the city.
